How players use it
Pre-battle simulation
Before sending troops into a fight you are not sure about, run the configuration through the simulator. It calculates probable outcomes based on your current unit mix and the target's known stats.
Resource extraction planning
Decide which Layers to prioritize for Essence extraction on a given session. The extension maps your available units against each Layer's yield and tells you where the time is best spent.
Advanced optimization (Premium)
Unlock deeper analytics, longer simulation histories, and priority access to new features as they ship. Premium is a one-time or subscription purchase handled through the ABYSS developer website.
BiteFight has a lot of moving parts. Layers, Grotto runs, Hunt timings, troop costs, Essence yields. Most players manage all of it in their heads or in spreadsheets they built themselves. ABYSS BiteFight started as exactly that: a private spreadsheet tool one of the developers was using to plan their own sessions. It worked well enough that it became worth turning into something other people could actually install.
The extension launched in 2024 as a Chrome add-on available through the Chrome Web Store. The first version covered basic troop simulation and Layer extraction. Grotto and Hunt support came in a later update after players asked for it directly. The current version handles all Layers, includes both Grotto and Hunt functionality, and has a premium tier for players who want the deeper optimization tools. More features are in development.
